Training & Education Resources

  Continuing Professional Education

CFE's can pre-register for the training sessions and participate in the online polling questions to earn training credit. Participants must respond to 75% of polling questions to earn CPE Credit for the training session.

Training certificates for our continuing education will be sent to each participant through Simple Cert. This is a new process that we are working through so if you identify any issues with your certificate, please notify the training director. To learn more about Simple Cert you can follow this link: www.simplecert.net.

Monthly Training Events

The PNW Chapter offers monthly training sessions, worth one (1) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit hour. Dates and times vary, but typically happen sometime during the third week of each month. Training Dates are posted on the Training Events Page.

Annual Chapter Conference

On an annual basis, the PNW Chapter hosts a day-long training conference that brings together professionals and experts from a diverse range of anti-fraud disciplines to provide education and networking with our regional CFE's. Visit the Annual Conference Page to learn more.

  Incentives and Scholarships

One of the ACFE PNW Chapter's primary goals is to provide support for students and professionals to further their education in fraud examination and it supports aspiring professionals and students with opportunities to apply for the CFE Incentive Program and Chapter Scholarships.

Certification Incentives

The PNW Chapter provides an Incentive Award to encourage members to obtain the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) professional certification from the ACFE. Each calendar year (January 1 – December 31) the Board will recognize one associate member who becomes a Certified Fraud Examiner during that year, by granting them an award of not more than $500 to help defray the cost of obtaining the CFE professional designation. Visit the CFE Incentive Page for more information.

Student Scholarships

There are two scholarship programs available to full-time university students seeking a major or minor in accounting, business administration, finance, or criminal justice programs in the Pacific Northwest. The following is a quick comparison of the two scholarships. More details are outlined in the links below.
