Student Association

The PNW Chapter's Student Association is specifically for University and College students across Western Washington that would like to further their education and career in fraud examination and forensic accounting. The PNW Chapter supports the advancement of the next generation of fraud fighters and sponsors this Student Association to promote student advancement in the field.

Student Association Goals

The PNW Chapter's Student Association is designed to provide student members with opportunities to:

    • Network with other students across Western Washington with similar career interests.
    • Connect with anti-fraud professionals in the area.
    • Gain insights on how to earn the CFE credential.
    • Learn about internships and career opportunities.
    • Access education, training and scholarship resources.
    • Expand anti-fraud discipline skills with real case investigations and volunteer opportunities.
Students interested in participating with the Student Association should submit their name and letter of interest to info@pnwacfe.org. Student Association Members will be added to an exclusive group within the PNW Chapter where they can utilize Student Association Forums, collaborate with other members and get access Student Association Meetings and Events.


Student Association Leadership Opportunities

Coupled with the above goals, is an opportunity for students to gain leadership skills and experience by volunteering their time to lead the affairs of the Student Association. Those in leadership positions would be expected to do the following:

    • Lead recruitment efforts to grow student membership with the chapter.
    • Collaborate with the PNW Chapter Board.
    • Direct the affairs and interests of the Student Assocation.
    • Design and coordinate Student Association Events and Meetings.
    • Set standards for the Student Association with the PNW Board's approval.

If students are interested in participating in the leadership of the Student Association, then they should submit their resume and letter of interest directed to the Board of Directors to info@pnwacfe.org. Volunteer Student Association Leaders will be asked to meet with their Board representatives on a regular basis to gain access to and coordinate resources for Student Association events and meetings.
