Presenter: Eric Hunter, External Enforcement Risk Manager


Session Synopsis

Fraud as a Service (FaaS) is an emerging and insidious trend in the world of cybercrime. This course provides an in-depth exploration of FaaS, its mechanisms, and its impact on various industries. Students will learn about the global network of cybercriminals who collaborate through underground forums and the Dark Web to offer fraudulent services.

Presenter Bio

Eric Hunter is an E-Commerce Risk Manager responsible for implementing internal and external strategies to combat FaaS. Prior to Amazon, Eric was a Special Agent at the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Inspector General(OIG) where he led complex investigations into COVID-19 fraud, loan fraud, and contract/grant fraud. Prior to that, Eric served in various roles at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and completed two combat tours to Iraq while serving as an Intelligence Officer.
